What do you do for Miller? I greet customers when they walk in the store, print blueprints, scan documents, and help with other projects when they pop up.
Where are you from? I was born in New Orleans and grew up in Slidell, Louisiana. But I’ve also called Memphis, Fort Worth, and St. Petersburg (Florida) home.
What is your favorite activity around Austin? Thrifting and shopping estate sales. I’m a big fan of saving money and resources by buying used stuff. Plus, I love finding unexpected treasures.
What is your favorite Austin Original? Peter Pan Mini Golf.
What is a favorite Austin “thing” you’d recommend doing? Watching the Congress Ave bats emerge on a summer night. Bonus points if you do it from a boat on Lady Bird Lake.
What’s your favorite local food joint? Asia Cafe on Spicewood Springs
What is on your bucket list for the next 5 years? I’d like to go back to school for my Master of Library Science.
What do you like most about working for Miller? I appreciate when challenging and out-of-the ordinary jobs come in that require some creative problem-solving. I also really enjoy the camaraderie of the repro team.
What is your favorite food? A cup of seafood gumbo with a side of fried crab claws.
If you could get tacos from only one place in Austin, where would it be? The Freakin’ Vegan from Tacodeli is my go-to.
What are your three favorite movies? Dirty Dancing, Elf, and Shaun of the Dead.
