So, let me tell you.. if you are lucky enough to work with Adelaide, I know you will be delighted. She is smart, capable, clever, and very careful with your documents. Adelaide has been in charge of scanning files from owners of large real estate holdings, school districts, governmental agencies and municipalities. You have documents to scan? Adelaide can do it, fielding your questions and researching answers if she does not know.
Adelaide is definitely our Team Lead for scanning and archiving of files. She also manages our planroom, our online tool for posting files for ongoing construction design and build projects.
Scanning and archiving continues to be a “big deal” at Miller Imaging – we take your boxes or flat files and rolls of documents, we scan them and return them to you as digital files. Not only does it save expensive storage space but you also have a chance to find your plans digitally!
So a couple of fun facts about Adelaide. Adelaide grew up in Houston and came to Austin to go to UT. She graduated with an English degree and a business certificate, which I learned is “more than a minor in business, but less than a major.”
Adelaide finds her home away from home in bookstores and libraries. Her face lit up saying that Cedar Park got a new library in November, and when she lived more centrally in Austin, she loved the Central Library on Cezar Chavez. “BookPeople is my favorite store, but I’ve had a good time checking out all of the independent books stores that have popped up in Austin. If I were a UT student today, First Light in Hyde Park would be a daily stop.”
Another fun fact? Adelaide has a 3 year old dachshund / basset hound mix named Harvey Mudd. He’s pretty cute and basically looks like a huge dachshund. (I saw pics and agree! adorable!).
Adelaide has been with us since Decmeber of 2017. She is a joy to have at our business. Another Miller treasure!
