Nona Maxwell was a native Texan and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She majored in art at West Texas State University, now West Texas A&M, and the University of Arizona, but received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education with a minor in art from UT. Retirement from the classroom allowed a renewed focus on art. Nona exhibited her work in shows in Arizona and Texas and was a member of the Boerne Art League. She and her husband, Sid, divided their time between Fair Oaks Ranch in Texas and their summer home near Mount Baker in Washington State. In memoriam to Nona Maxwell. (10/30/2025)
