Featured Artist: Lucas Aoki
March 2015: Lucas grew up near the mountains of Cordoba, Argentina where he developed the great love for the outdoors reflected in his artwork.
In 2007, he moved to Austin from New York, and was inspired to revisit drawing and to teach himself to paint.
Cedar allergies and 100+ temperatures aside, Lucas loves life in Austin where his work has continued to evolve. His key elements for surviving and thriving include his family and friends, traveling, non-processed foods, a peaceful morning and out-of-the-city fresh air.
