It’s here—the wait is finally over! Easy Tiger officially opened its highly anticipated North Austin bakery and beer garden at The Linc (6406 North Interstate 35 Frontage Road Suite 1100) this past Saturday, December 8th, 2018. Much larger than its 6th Street sister, their Linc location has an increased amount of space for delicious food, an incredible selection of drinks, and fun on an even greater scale.
We are especially excited to have provided and installed custom printed wallpaper for the bakery and beer garden. Miller IDS worked with both Easy Tiger, interior designer Veronica Koltuniak of VeroKolt, and LAND Design Studio to color match the wallpaper design and bring the namesake tigers to life.
If the bakery and craft beer offerings are anything close to the other locations (6th St, Fareground, and Whole Foods 365 in Cedar Park), this latest one is sure to be an extra-popular addition to our city. Our Metric Location especially is looking forward to having a fun, family-accessible space to eat delicious hot pretzels and beer cheese or to pick up a delicious baguette.
The Linc location will serve the specialties Easy Tiger is known for including specialty breads, sandwiches, sausages, and a great variety of beers and whiskeys. Additionally, the space offers great parking and will begin offering brunch December 15th and will eventually boast drive-thru services and live music. As you can see, the interior is open with windows for looking into the bread and charcuterie makings that give Easy Tiger its well-deserved fame. The bake shop is now open from 7AM to midnight on Sunday through Wednesday and until 2AM Thursday through Saturday, while the beer garden is open 11AM to close Monday through Friday and 10AM to close Saturday and Sunday.
The Beck Group has an exciting project at 2010 East 6th Street in the heart of growing East Austin. They’re currently designing and building the office for developer Aquila Commercial, which will be home to GoDaddy’s Austin office.
Because of the project’s urban location, Beck secured a unique “jobsite office” of leased tenant space just across the street from the construction site. In their words, “we knew we wanted to make this office an awesome home base for our team, so we called on Miller IDS to help us brand the space.”
As Beck wanted the logo to be visible to pedestrian traffic on 6th Street, our Miller IDS team installed a 4′ vinyl Beck logo on the prominent back wall of the office space.
“Miller’s team helped us find an ideal location and did a great installation that is being enjoyed by the team and visitors to the site.”
As East Austin continues its transformation, we’re happy to help you add your mark to Austin’s hottest neighborhood.

The AEC technology revolution has arrived for you! Come and join your peers at the very first ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) Technology Forum March 8th at Miller IDS’ Metric store. DECREASE REWORK Save time and money with precision data and quicker awareness of issues
INCREASE SAFETY See how drones and wearables can manage inspections and navigate hazardous areas
You’ve been hearing about drones – now find out why. A drone can do the same survey in under two days (with less than 30 minutes of actual flight time) that used to take a helicopter weeks to complete. Along with a significant benefit in saved time, drones can contribute in the following ways:
Provide up-to-date information
Create video, exacting photos & 3-D modeling
Survey and inspect sites
Get your foot in the door by speaking directly with technology leaders from 3DR and take your efficiency to new heights.
Turning Expectations into Reality
Virtual and augmented reality is taking the construction industry by storm. Join us on March 8th and see for yourself why VR & AR are no longer just something seen in the movies. For example, virtual-reality safety walk-throughs may become the default solution for those wanting to assess potential hazards. As a useful communication tool, there is nothing more real. Start your journey to VR here or on March 8th.
“VR is the definitive next step for AEC visualization, and it’s important to take that step now to stay ahead of the curve.”
